Fife Moving & Storage is a family owned and operated business started in Canonsburg, PA when Raymond Fife purchased his first truck back in 1925. In the late 20’s and early 30’s many trucking companies did general hauling to stay in business and Raymond Fife was no exception. At that time, Raymond Fife hauled ice, oil well drilling equipment, mine pit posts and of course household goods to name a few items.

Over the years, Fife Moving experienced steady growth in the household goods moving in the Pittsburgh and Washington area. Fife grew to be one of the top performing Pennsylvania movers. In 1950, Raymond Fife built our first warehouse in Houston, PA. As business grew over the years, additional warehouses were built to handle the increase in storage business. We moved to our present state of the art facility in Washington, PA just south of Pittsburgh in 1991.

In 2005, Parks Moving and Storage purchased Fife moving and we became an agent for Mayflower Transit. Parks Moving has a 4th generation family owned moving company that has been the largest mover in Pennsylvania for several years. Fife/Williams expanded its footprint in Pennsylvania in 2005 and opened up an additional office in State College, Pennsylvania.
